When I first came to HSS, I had been putting up with extreme pain in both my legs for almost two years. I was a three season varsity cross country and track runner in high school and college, yet I had come to accept that my pain meant I might never run again. Thanks to the hard work and professional knowledge of the people at HSS, that didn't happen. Dr. Jordan Metzl immediately recognized what the other doctors I'd been seeing for years could not: I had a nerve entrapment in each of my legs that was causing the pain. Dr. Steve K. Lee operated on each of my legs in February (left) and April (right). Seven and a half months after my most recent operation, I'm back to running again!
