It has been ten months since my lumbar fusion procedure, and the improvement to my quality of life has been profound and exceeded all expectations. Although I take some credit working hard every day to keep active and do strengthening exercises, it is Dr. Kim, his team and everyone at HSS in and out of the operating room that made my surgery such a success. Having spoken to other individuals who have had lumbar fusion at other hospitals has deepened my appreciation of Dr. Kim's remarkable skill, advanced techniques and foresight in patient care. I could not be more grateful.
