My experience was so positive at HSS in 1990 when I had my first hip replacement done by Dr. Thomas Sculco that I did not hesitate to return to HSS when I needed my knee replaced in 2011. I did this at age 78 and it was the best thing I ever did for myself. I chose to do my PT at HSS and the combination of having the best doctor, Dr. Stephen Fealy, enhanced by the fabulous PT team meant that I was back on the golf course 7 weeks after my surgery without an ounce of pain. I would not consider joint replacement anywhere else (and I live in FL 7 mo. of the year.) My only regret is that Dr. Fealy no longer accepts Medicare patients.
