I am a professional long course triathlete, and I suffered a debilitating bicycle crash while training in April of 2014. After a number of doctors, therapists, and self-rehabilitation attempts, I finally found myself in Dr. Wyss's office. And my only regret is that I didn't find Dr. Wyss sooner. His medical knowledge and ability to get to the root of my hip injury was surpassed only by his incredible attitude. Dr. Wyss went far beyond "good bedside manner"- Dr. Wyss genuinely listened to all of my concerns, appreciated the psychological implications and worries associated with a career-threatening injury, and made me feel like I was his only patient. Thanks to Dr. Wyss, I was able to get back in the game and return to full distance triathlon racing, and racing well, just 7 months after a serious bike crash.
