For 3 years prior to my surgery, Dr. Stephen Geiger, pain management specialist at the HSS Long Island Outpatient Center (Uniondale), was able to alleviate my lower back and leg pain by administering epidural steroid injections every few months. When these injections were no longer effective, Dr. Geiger advised me to see Dr. Farmer.
