I had microdiscectomy performed by HSS. I was impressed by how professional and personable the surgical team was before and after the surgery. From the beginning, my surgeon, Dr. Sandhu, was open and honest about the procedure, what it would accomplish, and what its limitations would be. Also, he did an amazing job of addressing my concerns and alleviating my anxiety, and not once did he ignore my feelings or questions. He is absolutely the best doctor and person I have ever met, and I highly recommend him to anyone who requires spine surgery.
