About Dr. Huang

Dr. Stephanie Huang is a board-certified Attending Anesthesiologist at Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS). She received her medical degree and completed her internship and residency training in anesthesiology at the University of Pennsylvania, followed by additional fellowship training in Regional Anesthesiology and Acute Pain Medicine at HSS. Upon completion of the HSS fellowship, Dr. Huang returned to the University of Pennsylvania where she worked as an assistant professor, attending anesthesiologist, and assistant residency program director until 2023. She then joined Northwell Health Staten Island University Hospital where she was the clinical director of regional anesthesia and the clinical medical director for their Center for Ambulatory Surgery. While at Staten Island University Hospital, she also was part of the core faculty that established Staten Island's first anesthesiology residency program. She returned to HSS in 2026.
