Dr. Sean Bryan is an experienced and accomplished primary sports medicine physician who specializes in the evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of various musculoskeletal injuries and conditions including the value-added use of ultrasound to guide injections into the hip, shoulder and knee joints. He completed his Sports Medicine fellowship training at Thomas Jefferson University and has served as a team physician at the professional, collegiate and high school levels.

Over the course of his career, Dr. Bryan founded and directed two primary sports medicine fellowship programs, served as program director for two family medicine residencies, and served as chair of two family medicine departments. He served on the Board of Directors for the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine (AMSSM) and the Southeast Chapter of the American College of Sports Medicine. Dr. Bryan has been listed in the Best Doctors in America Database since 2009 and recognized by Castle Connolly as a Top Doctor in Sports Medicine since 2018. He has authored/co-authored multiple peer-reviewed publications including a review exploring the role of human resilience in orthopedic patients that was published in the Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery. He currently serves on the Editorial Board for Sports Health: A Multidisciplinary Approach and on the AMSSM Education Committee.

Dr. Bryan believes it is at the intersection of high intelligence quotient, high emotional intelligence, and high resilience/grit where exceptional human performance and optimal clinical outcomes are most likely to occur. This belief is why he is embarking on a line of scientific inquiry and programming designed to help facilitate game-changing performance and optimized clinical outcomes for patients with musculoskeletal problems locally, nationally and internationally.

On a personal note, Dr. Bryan is happily married and loves spending time with his wife, Katrina, and their five children.
