Dr. Roger Yang is a board-certified anesthesiologist with fellowship training in regional anesthesiology.
He earned his bachelor’s degree from Brandeis University, graduating summa cum laude. He earned his medical degree from UMass Chan Medical School—one of the nation’s leading institutions for primary care—where he cultivated a compassionate and reassuring approach to patient care.
He completed his anesthesiology residency at Mount Sinai West in New York City. This experience provided him with a strong foundation in general anesthesiology and taught him how to care for patients and manage complex medical conditions in one of the most diverse cities in the world.
Dr. Yang completed a regional anesthesiology fellowship at Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS), where he refined his skills in neuraxial anesthesia (spinal and epidural) and peripheral nerve blocks.
He has since served as an attending anesthesiologist at NYU Langone Orthopedic Hospital and now continues to provide care to patients in need of top-tier orthopedic anesthesia at HSS.
