Dr. Nikunj Patel is an Attending Neurologist at Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS). He specializes in the diagnosis and management of neuromuscular conditions, including neuropathy, myopathy, radiculopathy, and neuromuscular junction disorders. In addition to neuromuscular care, he treats select general neurological conditions such as headaches and neck or back pain. Dr. Patel earned his undergraduate degree in Genetics and Psychology from Rutgers University and his medical degree, with a distinction in research, from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He completed both his neurology residency and a fellowship in neuromuscular medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital. He is board-certified in neurology and board-eligible in neuromuscular medicine.
