About Dr. Shakoor
Dr. Delaram Shakoor earned her medical degree from Tehran University of Medical Sciences. She was involved in NIHfunded research projects at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, contributing to projects utilizing high-resolution cone beam CT to evaluate bone and joint health. She completed her Diagnostic Radiology residency at Yale School of Medicine, followed by a Musculoskeletal Imaging Fellowship at the Hospital for Special Surgery. Supported by a Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) Research Fellow Grant, her research focuses on advanced peripheral nerve imaging, integrating MR neurography, and quantitative muscle imaging to improve diagnostic evaluation ofpatients with facial nerve palsy and o ther peripheral nerve disorders. Her clinical and research interests remain in sports, spine, and peripheral nerve imaging.
