Dr. John Wang is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in hip and knee reconstructive surgery and replacement. His focus is on modern minimally invasive techniques to return patients back to their normal level of activity. Dr. Wang also utilizes computer navigation and robotic surgery to deliver superior outcomes.
Dr. Wang obtained his medical degree from Georgetown University where his research focused on cellular physiology. He then completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Miami / Jackson Memorial Hospital. It was during orthopedic residency where he developed a keen interest in reconstructive surgery. This led him to Hospital for Special Surgery as a clinical fellow in the Adult Reconstruction and Joint Replacement Division.
Dr. Wang takes a personalized and individual approach to patient care. His goal is improving patients' quality of life and returning to all activities.
