About Dr. Nejim

 

Dr. Jemiel Nejim is a board certified anesthesiologist. He has specialized training in critical care medicine with an emphasis on cardiovascular disease. Dr. Nejim trained and practiced at the University of California, San Francisco before joining the Department of Anesthesiology, Critical Care & Pain Management at HSS.

Dr. Nejim's other interests include echocardiography and the use of ultrasound in acute situations. He has co-authored several pieces of research on the use of point-of-care ultrasound (PoCUS) in the perioperative setting.
