About Dr. Markowicz
Dr. Daniel Markowicz specializes in hip and knee reconstruction, including both primary and revision total joint replacements. He utilizes robotics and computer assisted technology during surgery to help his patients recover more quickly so they can get back to their normal state of health. Dr. Markowicz's goal is to provide a comprehensive, individualized treatment plan for each patient, and he believes patient education is of paramount importance throughout the process. Utilizing his extensive orthopedic training, the latest surgical techniques, and current research available, Dr. Markowicz strives to provide the best possible medical care for his patients.
Dr. Markowicz is a board certified orthopedic surgeon with fellowship training in orthopedic hip and knee replacement. He attended Washington University in St. Louis for his undergraduate degree and then completed his medical training at The Ohio State University. He then moved from the midwest to New York and completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, a division of Einstein-Montefiore. After residency, he received his fellowship training in Adult Reconstruction and Joint Replacement at Hospital for Special Surgery.
