He is also highly experienced in spinal cord and peripheral nerve stimulation, platelet-rich plasma techniques and radiofrequency ablation techniques. After a year of working in the private sector, he was recruited by Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai to help build the outpatient and inpatient pain management practice and help develop the sub-department of Integrative Pain Management with colleagues. During this tenure for 10 years, he trained over 70 fellows in interventional pain management. He also served as an official MD acupuncturist and physician on staff at the US Open Tennis Championships in Flushing Meadows, with direct medical work and staffing in the training room of the ATP players.
