In order to facilitate your care during your stay at Hospital for Special Surgery, we respectfully request upon admission you leave your medications at home. In the event you are on a medication that the Hospital does not carry, an HSS pharmacist will call you with instructions.
Please leave all narcotic controlled substance medications at home (i.e. Ambien, Percocet, Kadian, Valium, etc.). The Hospital must strictly enforce this policy to be in compliance with the New York State Department of Health regulations.
