The Eduardo A. Salvati Fellowship Program reflects HSS’s longstanding commitment to advancing clinical and scientific excellence in hip surgery and reconstructive orthopedics. This one-year fellowship is designed to provide the fellow with immersive experience in clinical and translational research focused on hip disorders, reconstructive surgery, outcomes research, and innovation in hip arthroplasty. Through mentorship from leading faculty and participation in high-impact research initiatives, fellows will contribute to projects that advance the field and improve patient care.

Minimum Job Requirements

  • Education/Training:
    • Doctorate (Medical Degree) preferred
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 2 years research experience OR must demonstrate success in clinical, basic, or biomechanical research through publications and awards
    • Prior Epic experience
    • Knowledge of good clinical practice and good technology practice
    • Proficient use of computers and software
    • Knowledge of orthopaedic and/or rheumatologic terminology is a plus
