My rookie season with the Giants in 2024 was all about learning, how to handle the highs, the lows, and what it means to be a pro. More than anything, it was a year of growth.

Thanksgiving Day against the Cowboys was a turning point. I had a career-high 54 yards, felt everything start to click, and played with confidence. But after the game, I felt a sharp pain in my foot. X-rays revealed a Jones fracture, and my season was instantly over.

Dr. Martin O’Malley at HSS performed my surgery, using a plate and stem cells to help the bone heal and prevent refracture. Recovery was long and humbling. Watching my teammates play while I sat at home was harder than the surgery itself, but their support, and Dr. O’Malley’s guidance, kept me focused.

Rehab tested my patience. I learned that real toughness isn’t just pushing through pain, it’s knowing when to slow down and let your body heal.

After months of hard work, I came back this season stronger than ever, highlighted by a two-touchdown game against the Saints on October 5th.
