When I first met Dr. Barbhaiya in 2019 I was in significant pain. The medication I'd been put on to treat lupus was ineffective. I wanted to become pregnant, and was fearful of trying because of focalized pain in my arms. She started at square one, changed my diagnosis to MCTD, altered my medication, and got me into occupational therapy. It was truly lifechanging. That same year, I became pregnant with our now 4 year old daughter. I am certain that she would not be here if I hadn't seen Dr. Barbhaiya. She is kind, takes the time to listen and connect, is amazingly knowledgeable, and problem solves. I am forever indebted to her care.
