In April 2023, I had a serious back injury which left me with two herniated discs in my lumbar spine. For about 4 months, I worked with a number of PTs and doctors who were unable to help relieve my symptoms. Over those awful 4 months, I found my symptoms getting worse and was losing faith that I would be able to return to running.

In August 2023, I was referred to HSS and began working with Will Behrns. Immediately, Will identified what my biggest problem areas were and we developed a plan of attack. In a few short weeks, I noticed marked improvement in my symptoms. After 3 months, I was slowly returned to running. Will was truly a miracle worker. I cannot commend HSS enough for the level of one-on-one personalized care that I received.

Just last week (March 2024), I finished my third half marathon pictured here - with a personal record! I hope to complete my first full marathon in NYC later this year and maybe more after that!
