I broke my arm on August 11, 2022 after having a traumatic fall off my horse. I live in Charlotte, NC. After trying to heal naturally for 3 months I was frustrated with my doctor as he couldn’t tell me why I wasn’t able to heal. I then found out about HSS and found Dr. Sama. I had a virtual appointment with him in November 2022. He spent almost an hour on the virtual call with me and my husband. After that appointment I knew that I would have no one but Dr. Sama operate on me. On January 5th he performed an open reduction internal fixation on the transverse fracture of my humerus in my dominant right arm. Today, May 3rd, almost 4 months later I had my final follow up with him. He said that my fracture is officially healed! I’ve been working hard every single day to get both mobility and strength back in my arm. I’m back doing all the activities I love! I cannot thank Dr. Sama enough for everything. He is the BEST!
