I had double knee replacement surgery in 2010, which was performed by Dr. Marx. With 12-year-old knees and a 70-year-old body, I was able to complete a 17-day trek in Nepal to the top of Gokyo Ri at 17,600 feet. The views of Everest and several of the other highest mountains in the world will be unforgettable. Thanks to HSS for allowing me to continue my love of trekking. May the knees get to see many other locations in the future. I’m heading back to HSS for a new shoulder in the fall.
