In May 2020, I had a very nasty bicycle accident that resulted in a fractured collarbone and a detached ligament in the thumb of the opposite hand both requiring surgery. Drs. Gregory DiFelice and Samir Trehan were exceptional; gentle, kind and knowledgeable. They guided me through the ups and downs of my surgery, educated me and gave me confidence that I’d fully recover.
By the end of the summer, thanks to stellar talent and their kind support, I was healed and even tried sports that I’d never done before; kayaking and stand-up paddleboard.
