During one of my fights, I tore my scapholunate ligament in my wrist. Each fight after, the pain got progressively worse especially when I would try to grapple with an opponent. Eventually, I realized I couldn’t fight anymore with the injury and needed to get surgery.

I went to HSS and met with Dr. Hotchkiss to evaluate my wrist. He was able to answer all my questions in a way that made me feel safe and secure. The sense of comfort he gave me made it a no brainer to allow Dr. Hotchkiss to perform the surgery on me.

The surgery at HSS was a huge success. I now have way more strength in my right wrist than I did before, and it has allowed me to put the vice grips on my opponents again. I am thankful I chose HSS to help me get back to full strength in the octagon.
