Our son, after finishing his first day of kindergarten, fell off our neighborhood playground slide fracturing his right arm radius and ulnar. After working with Lorene for the past couple of months, Grayson now has ultimately full function of his arm. And is climbing away! He not only repaired physical injuries, but learned ‘think before we act.’ Body awareness and safety to a kindergartner is so challenging. As his parents, we are forever grateful of the EBP care, compassion and charisma Lorene shared with Grayson. So much so - he declared at one of his OT appointments he declared ‘Mom, I want to be an Occuuuuupational Therapist too. To fix and help people get better.’ This is one proud Momma (who happens to be an NP caring for women with breast cancer).
