At the age of 15 years old, while playing basketball, I injured my shoulder and didn't realize the damage I had done. After this injury, I would have reoccurring subluxations of my left shoulder. I dealt with my shoulder subluxations because I feared having surgery done. Then at the age of 24 years old, I decided enough was enough and wanted to stop limiting myself from playing sports and performing daily activities. I went on the HSS website and found Dr. Joshua Dines. I had dealt with this injury for nine years and regretted not going to see Dr. Dines much sooner. From the moment I met Dr. Dines, I knew I found the right person to help me. I was diagnosed with a labrum tear in my left shoulder. I am currently 8 months post-op and my shoulder feels better than ever. It's been a long road to recovery, but overall I'm very grateful for the outcome. Thank you HSS and Dr. Dines for putting me Back in the Game.
