When I first met Dr. Farmer, I had a long list of questions to ask and he smiled, sat back and said, "Go ahead". He answered all my questions and took his time with me. I knew then that this was the doctor that would do my extensive spinal surgery. I needed to extend the stainless steel rod I had from long ago when I had scoliosis. Dr. Farmer took a piece of the old rod out, because stainless steel and titanium cannot touch, and placed cages with new titanium hardware and fused my spine. After surgery he visited me every day in the hospital. I felt safe and secure under his care. All of my follow up visits have been the same - he's always answering my questions. I couldn't imagine going anywhere else for my very extensive surgery. I not only trust and like Dr. Farmer as a surgeon, I trust and like him as a person.
