Trust is the best thing I can say about my experience at HSS. After my first consultation with Dr. Farmer I turned to my wife and said "he's the real deal and I trust him". Dr. Farmer was very reassuring in the way he spoke to us, but was clear and concise about the facts of my condition. He recommended additional tests and referred me to Dr. Goldstein for a neurological evaluation. As a result, I decided on having the surgery, a lumbar laminectomy. I had my surgery on 2/13/17 and I am home recovering, making steady progress. I can't say enough about the entire HSS team! Dr. Farmer checked on my progress every morning as did Dr. Craig. It was reassuring to know I was in good hands! The nursing staff from the PACU to my care staff on the sixth floor I found nothing but professionalism mixed with genuine care and compassion.
