Patient Story of: D.T. S

I tore my ACL and MCL in a ski accident. I researched several doctors and was impressed by Dr. DiFelice's unique treatment approach which tries to repair the ACL if at all possible. I traveled to NYC for a consultation, in the hopes that I might be a candidate for a repair as opposed to a reconstruction which would be much more invasive. Fortunately, the repair technique was an option. The operation was performed and I did not need to take anything stronger than Extra Strength Tylenol post-surgery. Five weeks later I was back to cross country skiing and intend to be back to downhill skiing by the end of March which will be about 10 weeks post surgery. Dr. DiFelice is a pioneer and I am truly grateful to be "back in the game" so quickly!
