It was January of 2005. As a lupus patient at a general hospital in New York City, I was not doing very well. I felt weak, breathless, and unable to enjoy life. I decided to visit Hospital for Special Surgery and they have helped me build up my strength and helped improve my quality of life. Whether it be participating swimming, ice skating, or listening to music, I'm thankful to all of my doctors for their help, especially Dr. Berman.
