On November 20, 2015 I had a full knee replacement by Dr. Gonzalez Della Valle. The hospital service was great and I was out at home in 3 days after surgery walking on my own. Dr. Della Valle was wonderful he made me feel confident that I would recovery quickly. I worked hard at the therapy and it paid off. In early March I took my family for vacation to Disneyland and at the end of the week, my son-in-law, who tracked our walking, told me that we had walked 60 miles. I never could have done that prior to my surgery. So thanks to HSS and Dr. Della Valle, I was able to enjoy seeing my grandchildren enjoy Disney.
