I saw Dr. MacGillivary because I needed revision ACL surgery within 8 months of my first procedure. I knew I needed to see the "best" to ensure I had the best possible chance of returning to play lacrosse. He was honest, direct and understood where I was coming from having been a student athlete himself. Everyone in his office was great to schedule my operation prior to my return to school. The staff in outpatient surgery were really understanding and compassionate from the registrars to the nurses, aides and physical therapist I saw prior to being sent home. I would have no hesitation to return to HSS or refer anyone to Dr. MacGillivary.
