I had 2 significant knee surgeries at HSS from a soccer injury in high school. In 2010 I had reconstructive knee surgery with donor tissue for bone on bone rubbing. It was at this time a metal plate was put in my knee. In 2012 I had a meniscus transplant and the metal plate removed. I was told by many doctors that I would never step on a soccer field with this injury. Dr. Williams lll proved them all wrong. Not only did I get back in the game, but I won the game!!
