On August 1, 2011, I had my left knee replaced at HSS. I had been told by friends that most people that have one knee replaced are hesitant about going back and having a replacement of the other knee. The care I received at HSS by the doctors, nurses, aides, rehab services, etc. left no doubt in my mind. I came back on Nov. 7, 2011 to have my right knee replaced. It is now 5 months after my last knee replacement and I am back dancing, walking, volunteering and leading a great life. Thank you.
