Patient Case History: Bill

Repair of Distal Humerus Nonunion

Pre-Op

Patient Surgeon: S. Robert Rozbruch
Bill injured his right elbow a few years back. He had a distal humerus fracture that was repaired by other doctors. The fracture did not heal despite several operations. He came to us with a painful nonunion, instability of the arm, and broken internal hardware.

Post-Op

We repaired the nonunion, removed the internal hardware, and applied an Ilizarov/ Taylor Spatial frame to stabilize and compress the nonunion.
