Services
Overview
- We accept fresh and fixed specimens. Please, check Guidelines for sample handling and transport.
- We will consult with users and perform quality control step(s) before agreeing to provide services.
- Users must complete the Request section. The Core may contact users requesting additional information or processing details, when needed.
- After the request is approved, the Core will email the user to schedule a sample drop off time.
- Upon project completion, the user will receive an email notifying that the project is ready, and the samples/data are ready for pickup. Charges will be submitted upon completion of the work.
- We ask users that they acknowledge the HSS Molecular Histopathology Core Laboratory in publications or presentations that include Core resources.

- Project consultation
- Fixation & processing (without/ with decalcification: we use EDTA as default)
- Sectioning (FFPE and cryosections)
- Histological stains (including, but not only, H&E, Safranin-0, Massons Trichrome)
- Whole slide imaging, brightfield (Zeiss Axioscan 7)
