Pamela Geisel is an Exercise Physiologist on the Sports Rehabilitation and Performance team and the Director of Performance & Wellness Services at HSS. She holds a bachelor's degree in Exercise Science from Towson University, a master's degree in Exercise Physiology from Adelphi University, and an MBA from Hofstra University. Pamela is an active member of the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), a certified Run Coach with the Road Runners Club of America (RRCA), and a certified Pre and Postnatal Corrective Exercise Specialist. She also serves as a member of the New York Road Runners Medical Advisory Council.
With over 15 years of experience in the fitness field, Pamela has developed extensive expertise in personal training and rehabilitation across various settings, including corporate wellness, commercial fitness, and physical therapy clinics. She is frequently sought after as a contributing author and presenter for nationally recognized organizations and publications. Pamela has a particular passion for maximizing the performance of endurance athletes and empowering mothers throughout their pregnancy journeys.
