Ashley Fluger is an Exercise Physiologist on the Sports Rehabilitation and Performance Team, as well as the Manager of Performance and Wellness Services at HSS. She attended Indiana University for her Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology and graduated top in her class. She continues to be involved with IU as the representative for the School of Public Health on the university’s alumni board. Ashley also completed the Sport Essentials Certificate Program from Columbia University.
She has spent her career working in a variety of clinical and commercial settings working alongside other medical professionals. She has experience with a patient population ranging from athletic development and preventative health, to various disease states and orthopedic conditions. Ashley is Pre and Post Natal certified. Ashley has been interviewed in multiple magazine and newspaper publications for her expertise, and presents at professional conferences and hospital grand rounds. She is an active volunteer with the New York Road Runners and provides presentations on running related topics in addition to event coverage. She has a passion for helping people make their physical bodies healthier and stronger so they can get back to doing what they love to do every day.
