Max Castrogaleas is an exercise physiologist at HSS Westchester Sports Performance Center in White Plains, NY. He is a former US Marine Corps Sergeant and Marine Corps Martial Arts Instructor. After serving two tours as part of Operation Iraqi Freedom, he graduated from Queens College with a Bachelor's in Nutrition and Exercise Science and the Teachers College at Columbia University with a Master’s in Applied Exercise Physiology.
Max has worked with a diverse range of clientele across a variety of ages and skill levels, from post-op rehabilitation to high level sports performance. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (NSCA), Tactical Strength and Conditioning Facilitator (NSCA), Certified Exercise Physiologist (ACSM), EXOS Performance Specialist, EXOS Fitness Specialist, EXOS Performance Mentorship Phase 1 and 2, ONNIT Academy Certified Trainer, Functional Movement Screen Certified, M/WOD Movement & Mobility Specialist, and USATF Level 1 Coach.
