Matthew Accetta is an Exercise Physiologist at Hospital for Special Surgery's Tisch Sports Performance Center. Matt earned a Bachelor of Science in exercise science and a Master of Science with distinction in sports science with a concentration in exercise physiology from Hostra University where he currently serves on the board of advisors for the Exercise physiology program. His research interest focuses on ergogenic aids and he has contributed to numerous published studies on this topic.
Matthew has extensive experience helping clients of all ages navigate the transition from rehab to a full return to the activities they love. His expertise and experience range from guiding athletes to peak performance to providing safe and effective training for those with neurological disorders and special needs. He is currently certified through the American College of Sports Medicine as a Clinical Exercise Physiologist and a Certified Exercise Physiologist. Further, he is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist with Distinction, a Certified Special Populations Specialist and a Certified Tactical Strength and Conditioning Facilitator through the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
