Rebecca Paugh, PA-C
Rebecca Paugh is a board-certified, New York State licensed Physician Assistant, specializing in orthopedic surgery. Rebecca began her career as a Physician Assistant at Hospital for Special Surgery in 2017 and has worked alongside Dr. Holly Johnson since 2020.
Rebecca earned her Bachelor of Science in Health Science Studies from Quinnipiac University and her Master of Physician Assistant Studies at Cornell University.
While Rebecca works closely with Dr Holly Johnson in the care of surgical patients, she also independently sees patients for non-operative foot and ankle injuries and preliminary assessment of surgical issues. Her care involves both diagnosis and treatment, including injection therapy and referral for surgical intervention. She is passionate and knowledgeable about health and wellness, incorporating this into all aspects of patient care.
A unique bonus for Dr. Johnson’s patients: Rebecca personally underwent minimally invasive bunion surgery with Dr. Johnson with an excellent result. She is happy to share personal experience of the surgery and recovery with patients.
In her free time, Rebecca is a youth ice hockey coach and avid fitness enthusiast. She enjoys hiking, traveling, Hyrox competitions, and challenging herself in the gym.
