About Dr. Stuek

Dr. Samantha Stuek is an Assistant Attending Physician at Hospital for Special Surgery. She is board certified in family medicine with a certificate of added qualification in sports medicine. Dr. Stuek sees patients of all ages with the goal of helping return patients to their active and healthy lifestyles. 
 
Dr. Stuek completed her undergraduate degree from Johns Hopkins University and was a member of both the field hockey and track and field teams. She sustained an ACL injury during her athletic career which ultimately inspired her to become a physician. She attended medical school at New York Medical College prior to completing her residency in family medicine at INOVA-Fairfax Family Practice in Fairfax, VA, with a concentration in sports medicine. She then completed her fellowship in sports medicine at the University of Connecticut, where she served as a team physician for all university sports, including the Men’s and Women’s Basketball teams. During fellowship, she additionally served as team physician for the Division III Eastern Connecticut University teams and for the Hartford Athletics professional soccer team.
 
As a prior collegiate athlete, Dr. Stuek continues to stay active and enjoys running and local exercise classes. She has been a medical volunteer at the NYC Marathon, Marine Corps Marathon, Boston Marathon, Lake Placid IronMan, and Falmouth Road Race and has a passion for continuing care of runners with an additional special interest in women’s health.

Directions to The Pavilion

My office is located at The Pavilion, 541 East 71st Street. The main entrance to The Pavilion is on the north side of 71st Street underneath the sky bridge that connects the main hospital to the Belaire Building.
