Why Giants Punter Steve Weatherford Deserved to Be Honored

NJ.com—February 4, 2015

If there ever was a player deserving of being honored for his work off the football field, it’s Giants punter Steve Weatherford. He's constantly lending his time and energy (which he seems to have an endless supply) to help others.

Weatherford was among those being honored Tuesday night at the Thurman Munson Awards, benefiting the AHRC NYC Foundation, for his work in the community.

  • In October, Weatherford dressed up as Superman and visited kids at the Hospital for Special Surgery.
