Steven Matz to Have Bone Spurs Removed From Pitching Elbow

ESPN writer Adam Rubin reports that New York Mets' left-hander Steven Matz will undergo surgery to remove bone spurs from his pitching elbow. According to the article, the surgery will be performed at Hospital for Special Surgery with a projected three-month recovery time.
