Dr. Jack Cush - Rheumatology Round-Up at ACR 17

In an online video, RheumNow’s executive editor Jack Cush, MD revealed his favorite abstracts that were presented at the 2017 American College of Rheumatology (ACR) Annual Meeting. Epidemiology of Hospitalized Adult Onset Still’s Disease in United States by HSS clinical fellow Bella Mehta, MD was one of the highlighted studies.

Dr. Mehta and her team reviewed hospital databases for the number of patients with Still’s Disease, and found that their average age was older than normal. Additionally, they found that as a patient gets older, complications of the condition could worsen.
