I'm Married to Someone with Psoriatic Arthritis

Everyday Health writer Marie Suszynski reports that psoriatic arthritis can add stress to a marriage. However, Suszynski suggests that managing the stress of a chronic condition can help strengthen a marriage. 

Take for example, Brian and Lori-Ann Holbrook who have found that being better communicators helped their marriage and understanding of Lori-Ann's condition.

Hospital for Special Surgery rheumatologist, Susan Goodman, MD, contributes by suggesting support also helps those living with psoriatic arthritis. 

“Supporting social networks, spousal support — these are unbelievably important,” said Goodman.
