Doctors: Difficult to Predict Recovery Time for Julian Edelman

Mark Daniels, a writer for Providence Journal, reports that New England Patriots wide receiver, Julian Edelman, recently broke his left foot.

According to Matthew Roberts, MD, a foot and ankle surgeon at Hospital for Special Surgery, "With a Jones fracture, the risk is that it could take up to 12 weeks" for recovery.

Dr. Roberts also comments that, "They make a real run to the Super Bowl, he may be able to play in certain situations. You've got to look long-term and make sure you're not going back too soon."
