Expert Tips for Running for Weight Loss

Map My Run—July 13, 2017

Jason Machowsky, RD, CSSD, RCEP, CSCS, sports dietician and sports performance specialist at HSS, provided tips for running and weight loss in a blog article by Map My Run.

"Running is a great way to burn calories and build up cardiovascular function. However, if your goal is fat loss, nutrition is just as important," said Machowsky.

He added, "Sometimes when people start running, they feel like they can eat more because they earned the calories from running.
