Jo A. Hannafin, MD, PhD, a sports medicine surgeon at Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS), is highlighted in a recent "Hospital Heroes" feature presented by the Coalition to Protect America's Health and Care. Dr. Hannafin is praised for her role as a leading surgeon and researcher as well as being a trailblazer for women in medicine.
