Becker’s Hospital Review reports HSS names first chief value medical officer, Catherine MacLean, MD, PhD. In this newly created role, Dr. MacLean will co-lead the Value Management Office, which is focused on improving how the hospital defines, measures and achieves value. She will also work to improve external quality transparency.
